Dominique Ainley

Dom is a lifelong horsewoman whose journey began on a wooden rocking horse made by her grandad and has grown into a thriving 5* Licenced School Master Centre in the heart of the South West.

Based in Ivybridge, near Dartmoor, Dom and her team now support more than 250 riders each year through coaching, schoolmaster experiences, and educational programmes designed to inspire and support people at every stage of their equestrian journey.

Riding and competing remain central to  her life. Ronan competes successfully at British Dressage Medium/Advanced Medium, while Graham competes British Eventing grassroots, two disciplines that sit close to Dom’s heart. Alongside them, the wider team of exceptional schoolmasters play a vital role in helping riders develop confidence, skill, and feel.

Dom is dedicated to providing the very best environment for her horses and this is reflected in her bedding choices too. After trying many options over the years, Burlybed Universal Pellets have proven a top performer for even the messiest horses.

Dom and the team at Upper Lordswood Stables are deeply rooted in thier local equestrian community and we are incredibly proud to be working in partnership with them.
