Yas Olsson Payne

Yas and her husband Hector have been long term users of Burlybed Original and we are incredibly proud to have Yas as part of the Burlybed team.

Yas is an international eventer competing for Norway, she has built a strong reputation across the international circuit an made her senior championship debut for Norway at the 2025 FEI Eventing European Championships, riding her British sport horse Cos Me Will.

Her journey into top-level competition is inspiring; after a serious riding accident at age 11, she was told she might never ride again. Yet she returned to the sport and steadily climbed the ranks, with over 80 international starts and multiple top placings, including a 9th place finish at Millstreet CCI4*-L and 13th at Alnwick in 2025. Her style is marked by determination, technical skill, and a deep connection with her horses.
