The ideal bedding for game birds

Burlybed is not just for horses. We know how important quality bedding is to support the health and wellbeing of your birds and this is why many farms have chosen, and continue to choose, Burlybed products.

All of our products are UK grown and manufactured on our farm on the North Cornish coast. We select only the highest quality raw materials and throughout our production process all of our raw materials are dust extracted to ensure optimum cleanliness.

Burlybed Original is our premium miscanthus bedding. Processed to best use the naturally highly absorbent core of the plant and maintain the durability of the outer cane. This creates a low dust, ultra absorbent and very durable surface that controls odours and supports a hygienic and insulating environment.

Burlybed Light is our oilseed rape straw bedding. Sourced from UK Farm Assured farms, this bedding creates a free-draining but absorbent surface that is a softer option than miscanthus but still offers a good level of durability.   

As well as being the perfect choice for under your birds, we understand just how much waste can be generated and how important disposal can be. Burlybed products are completely natural and due to how they are processed are quick to rot down. They can be spread directly back on the land with no negative effects.
