A challenging winter & looking ahead

Things are slowly starting to pick back up and I have been very grateful to be allowed as an elite rider to continue to train and get the horses out to some different venues that we have all been dying to do for months!

It's been a strange time and one of those winters where motivation has been a struggle without any competitions to aim for, but saying that, my young horses have developed so well. With the bit of extra time training at home, I am absolutely delighted with them. I am excited to see what they can achieve this season.

With the disappointment of Badminton and other high level competitions being cancelled it looks to be another challenging year again, particularly for the 5* horses. Nobody is really sure where they will be heading and what's around the corner. We will continue to tick along and hope to be out at some events in the spring.

Since the beginning of last winter we have moved onto the Burlybed Light Extra which has certainly made our winter easier when the horses have been in. We find our horses to be less messy and the eucalyptus and aloe vera are a great addition, naturally hygienic and fresh, I love the smell! Thank you Burlybed, another fabulous product!
